Bunyols de carabassa – pumpkin fritters – are tradtionally made in Valencia during the Fallas festival in March. But are also consumed throughout the year. One of the best places to get them is at Horchateria Fabian in Valencia. The way locals eat them is by dipping them in hot chocolate (Valencia´s answer to Madrid´s churros!).
