Mopani Worms

These are caterpillar-like worms that you can dig out of old fallen or rotting trees. We got to cut them out and then they fried them up back at the camp. The heat must dry them out because there was no gooey-ness to it at all. They become a toasty brown and are slightly crunchy/chewy with a relatively neutral taste.
