It’s a squash cake that’s combined with some red bean and fried. It’s hot and crunchy on the outside and sweet, soft and oozy on the inside. SO AWESOME! A great dessert. I ate 10 of them. I have never seen them outside of Beijing and only saw it in Tianjin when a Vietnamese-Chinese classmate introduced me to them together with ?? which is rice noodle.
