This is an interesting take on gol gappa, one of North India’s favorite chaats. You’re meant to pour the flavored vodka—pepper, tamarind, jaljeera (cumin), or aampanna (green mango)—into a potato-filled puri, and pop the whole thing into your mouth. Better in theory than in taste, I’m afraid to report, but kudos for creativity!
