About the Author: Rob and Kayoko Werner

A fried shrimp maki (roll) at our favorite kai-ten (conveyor belt) sushi place, Sushi Zo (???). The entire shrimp is fried in panko (not tempura, as is often done in the US), wrapped in rice and seaweed, and then cut into bite-sized pieces.
