Momiji manju are maple leaf-shaped cakes. Traditionally filled with red bean paste, they now come with chocolate, cheese, ice cream, green tea, and other fillings. Miyajima, an island near Hiroshima, is famous for these sweets and there are many shops in the town which sell them. According to a friend who is from Hiroshima, Fujiiya is the best!
