rahim yar khan

Chaunsa, the King of Mango: Originating from the Rahim Yar Khan district of Pakistan, chaunsa mangoes got their name after Sher Shah Suri defeated Humanyun, one of the Mughal emperors, at a battle in Bihar, India. Chaunsa was the favorite of the Suri tribe. Chaunsa mangoes are one of the most famous mangoes, and one of the most consumed because of its sweet flavor. People like to soften this mango with their thumbs and suck the juice out without delay. The ripening season for chaunsa mangoes is from June till August, until past due September.
