You’ll see these individually wrapped pastries sold in bakeries and gift shops all over Taiwan. Whilst I’m not usually one for gift-wrapped food these are a winner (and excellent snack for hiking Taiwan’s beautiful mountains). Oblong of shortbread with sweet pineapple filling, that apparently originated as an offshoot the pineapple export industry.
