About the Author: Eleanor Partridge

Boiled dumplings are a staple – pork and cabbage is probably the most common variety. I must have had them at least three times a week for the duration of my stay here, always with chili sauce for dipping – Taiwan’s is savoury as well as spicy, I swear contains soy beans (or are they peanuts?) and could give sriracha a serious run for it’s money.
