A Thai variant on Hainanese chicken rice, Chinese in origin but now available all over Bangkok. The most traditional version consists of boiled chicken, served with oily rice (cooked in stock) and an earthy chili sauce, usually accompanied by sliced cucumber and pork blood tofu. Pictured here is the fried version served w. sweet chili sauce.
