In the land of coconuty curries (Thailand, of course!), Tom Kha Goong still managed to stand out, as it is part curry, part soup. Its consistency is definitely more liquid than regular curries but thicker than soup, and just like curries, it is served with rice. The coconut curry is flavored with galanga root, chilli oil and dried chillies.
