Steamed basmati rice, saffron, fresh ground, and curry prepared with a variety of fresh seasonal vegetables. Native Indian cooks devised a vegetarian version of Chicken Biryani for all vegetarians. Made in the same way as chicken, but using vegetables instead of chicken to maintain the flavors and taste authentic.
Editor's note: Vancouver has a good-size Indian population, making a good city to try an Indian restaurant!
