This was the first thing we ate in Havana, and we weren’t disappointed: piping hot, right-out-of-the-oil mini churros on the street, steps from the apartment we stayed in. These were cut thin, like fries, and covered in sugar once pulled out of the fryer. They were delicious! 2 pesos for a small serving.
