Rosquillas Somoteñas

Deliciously crispy, cheesy, and sweet, rosquillas can be found all around Nicaragua. They're made of local corn, fresh cuajada cheese, eggs, butter, and milk. The sweet variety gets a clump of cane sugar on top before going into the wood-burning oven. Visit the Vílchez Tinoco workshop to see how the best ones are made and buy a bag in the shop.
