Moxama (or muxama) is the seafood equivalent to prosciutto or serrano ham. This dried tuna is smoked and finely sliced, often served sprinkled with crushed nuts. Although it is a delicacy form the coastal region of Algarve, you can find it in several placed across Portugal. It tastes best alongside a good glass of Portuguese wine!
