Esgarraet

Submitted by deliciousvlc
Central Bar
mercat central valencia

"Esgarrar" in Valencian means "to pull apart". Esgarraet is a Valencian tapas dish made with salted codfish, roasted bell pepper, garlic and olive oil. The saltiness of the fish is balanced out by the sweetness of the pepper. This tapa is great on a piece of toast! Here at Central Bar they make a mean esgarraet.. Try it!
