Turkish breakfast

Submitted by lsr
Cafe Privato
Galip Dede Caddesi, Tımarcı Sokak No. 3B Istanbul, Turkey

The excellent traditional "village breakfast" at this cozy cafe in Galata is a delicious spread, taking up nearly every available inch of the table. Grilled haloumi, farm cheese, olives, three types of wonderful homemade marmalades, salad, fluffy Georgian pancakes, cheese & spinach borek, plus menemen (scrambled eggs w/green pepper, not pictured) and coffee. Awesome way to start your day!
