Sold by the balik ekmek (fish sandwich) vendors down by Galata Bridge (Eminönü side), tur?u suyu is a potent companion drink: pickled cucumber and cabbage with lots of bright pink pickle juice. Mouth-puckering but refreshing–as a fan of pickled everything, I enjoyed it!
