Village omelet

Submitted by lsr
Kaymakçı Pando
Sinan Paşa Mah. Mumcu Bakkal Sok. No. 5 Beşiktaş, Istanbul

The omelet at Kaymakçı Pando--another way you might have your local eggs cooked. Here it is cooked simply, topped with a pile of butter and (I think) more kaymak. No matter. It's so good, it's worth inclusion here. Pictured with tea, sunny-side up eggs, a standard tomato-cuc-cheese-olive plate, and the mind-blowingly delicious bal-kaymak (clotted cream w/honey). Best breakfast we had in Istanbul.
