Empanadas

Submitted by lsr
Street stall nr Iglesia del Carmen
nr Calle 14 No. 10-04 Villa de Leyva, Colombia

We stopped in the pretty colonial town of Villa de Leyva while driving from Bogota to San Gil, and spotted some old ladies with deep fryers near the Iglesia del Carmen. Deliciously crispy & meaty, with spicy aji on the side, they were perfect road-trip fuel.
