Ivan Ramen Slurp Shop
600 11th Ave. New York, NY

Ivan Ramen was the first American to open up a ramen shop in Tokyo. Now he's opened one in NYC at Gotham West Market. He gets his rye noodles locally from Sun Noodle in New Jersey. They float in a rich broth and are topped with shredded scallions and shichimi powder. At $13 a pop, these aren't cheap or big, but they are delicious.
