Molletes are usually eaten for breakfast or as a snack. They consist of a type of bread roll cut open and topped with different ingredients to taste. In this case, it included mashed refried beans and cheese, but could include meat or other vegetables. Here it was drowned in green tomatoes sauce that made the dish moist and delicious!
