Margherita pie
Frank Pepe is the originator of New Haven-style pizza: thin, charred crust; fresh tomato sauce. This Margherita pie is more Neapolitan than others here, but if you think about it, it's pretty close to the New Haven tradition, just substituting fresh "mutz" (as they call it here) for the usual grated Romano cheese. All you really need to know is: It's delicious.
