Agidi

Submitted by lsr
street vendor
Freetown, Sierra Leone

Agidi is a sweet pounded-corn snack, steamed in a banana leaf and soft and moist in texture. It's a great little street snack, safely wrapped in individual little packets. At home it is a common accompaniment to another dish, crain crain, though we never saw it offered at a restaurant.
