Nihari, coming from the word ‘Nihar'( which means morning), is a traditional Mughlai dish prepared during the winters, and eaten as breakfast soup, often using beef or in certain cases mutton. Nihari is a stew that is prepared in a special pot overnight, cooked for close to 12-14 hours, before being served with bread!
