Ok…this is pure junk food but the Mos Burger chain is much beloved throughout Japan and far beyond and as far as I’m aware was the first to make burgers (this is the veggie option) with a ‘bun’ made from rice. Now available elsewhere (including 7/11 in some countries) but you should try it here first. Messy to eat but incredibly satisfying.
