In the past, Hokkien Chinese brought the recipe of hae mee tng (prawn noodle soup) from Fujian province (in southeastern China) into Singapore. It is made from Hokkien mee (yellow noodles), prawn, and kangkong (water spinach) in broth soup. Nowadays, another dry version of prawn noodle is served with the rich soup on the side. Try it if you need a "quick meal" on a trip.
