These fresh and squeaky Quebecois cheese curds (“fromage en grains,” in French) were bought inside Marche Atwater at one of several cheese shops, but they're a common spot at many a Montreal dépanneur, or corner shop. Delicious on their own for a snack, they're also, of course, one of the key components of the province's beloved poutine.
