These iced white almonds, or buzlu badem, are a popular street food in Turkey, where it’s acceptable for vendors to walk through restaurants–or at least outdoor dining areas, as one seller did at brunch spot Sade Kahve. Served on ice, the almond skins peel off easily; they’re addictively delicious, even if you’re not drinking raki! (It is a traditional drinking snack). One (pretty large) serving goes for 10 TL.
