Nothing compares to a traditional Israeli breakfast! This hearty breakfast consists of strong espresso-based coffee, eggs made any way you wish, served with numerous fresh salads and dips. Local homemade bread allows you to dip into an assortment of labneh and tahini, or make a sandwich with smoked salmon and a variety of cheeses. The Israeli breakfast at Cafe Ella in Jerusalem is shareable, and one serving is plenty for two people with leftovers. I arrived at the restaurant very hungry, and was extremely satisfied with this meal until lunch time. That says a lot, because I am accustomed to eating 4-5 meals a day!
