
Tacu tacu is a Peruvian recipe with Afro influences. It was traditionally prepared with leftover beans and rice, resulting in something quick and cheap to eat, yet very fulfilling and nutritious. Tacu tacu is most commonly served with fried eggs or steak but in this vegetarian option it’s simply accompanied by fried plantains and salad.
