Again, not a totally traditional NYC-style black-and-white cookie–though it looks like it from above. These playful ‘cookies’ are more like crackers, with fillings in the middle. At the start of our meal we got savory ones, filled with cheddar and apple; at the end, sweet ones filled with lemon verbena. We preferred the latter, pictured.
