New for 2025: After a decade-plus of giving food tours only in our own neighborhood of Jackson Heights, we at Eat Your World have created this self-guided food tour in the next-most-requested neighborhood of the World’s Borough: Flushing. This is not just any old neighborhood: It’s Queens’ incredible Chinatown, and it's a mecca for food from all over China (and beyond). For the purposes of our guide, we’re focusing mostly on regional Chinese eats. This indoor-outdoor self-guided food tour is a mix of sidewalk vendors, grab-and-go eating, and food court dining. It will tell you exactly where to walk, what to order, what the food looks like (lots of photos!), what it costs, and who takes credit cards. Best for small groups of 1-4 people, this tour includes 9 food stops and a lot of "bonus stops" as well, plus a mini-guide to favorite sit-down restaurants. (You will want to pick and choose among those stops, or else be carting home a ton of leftovers!) Walking around Flushing is a whirlwind for the senses, and every block seems to hold some delicious, easy-to-miss secret. Don’t give in to overwhelm! Armed with this very detailed guide, you can eat your way confidently through Flushing for an amazing introductory course to one of Queens’ best neighborhoods for food (and culture) lovers, and help support the small, independent-owned eateries of Chinatown that we love.
